I found a Benchmade Griptilion with a 154 CM blade at a gun show last week end. $70 out the door. These are nice knives, if you havent handled one you should check one out.
I now have three Griptilions with the different steels offered by BM. One 440C, and another Cabela's special with D2 steel.

Benchmade's Griptilion is one of the best folding knives ever. I bought both the large and the smaller size that Cabela's offers. Blade of D2 steel stays sharp with minimal fuss. Being a semi stainless steel requires a quick wipe down when wetted to prevent corrosion, but nothing close to being a maintenance headache.

I've taken the pocket clip off of mine. Like it much better that way. The clip seemed to ruin the ergonomics of the Griptilian's excellent hand feel. Your milage may vary, of couse.

There's way too many knives in my knife drawer to choose from. The Griptilian makes it easy as it is the perfect choice every time. MACV offers sound advice...try one and see for yourself!

Why in Gods name would anyone want more than one?

MACV, I worked out of Nha Trang, for Col Jack, from 69-72; we may have met!
My question, in response to the one you raised, with lots of guns, lots of Motorcycles, lots of Knives, and absolutely no adult supevision, is "Why would you want even ONE?"
Hell, I can cook, do laundry, even LIKE to wash dishes, and clean the house; I have several ladies who think they are the one, all with different addresses from mine.
It's a lot easier to ask a gal to stay for the weekend, than to tell her to pack up her s**t and get out!
