View Full Version : Tapco stock rear sling mount
June 07, 2007, 19:19
I recently picked up a Tapco buttstock, grip and forend. Anybody hung a sling on the buttstock in a standard low mount other than the loop at the top of the buttplate? What worked?
If the stock is hollow.
On the Century that I have I got an Uncle Mikes quick detach with a long machine screw. Threaded a piece of metal and epoxied it inside. That's been almost 3 years ago, still good.

the little thick threaded screws that normaly are for sling mounts work, short of that get a small bolt and nut and a couple of washers and well the head of one of those thick screws onto the bolt head. i just used a mount screw but the option is up to you
