FAC Type 1 Receiver

I recently purchased 2 G1 parts kits and 2 FAC upper receivers.

I put the first rifle together with no probs except I did have to remove .002 from the barrel to get the correct timing, but other than that these receivers are very well built. The machine work on them is very good.

I'm new at these Fal's so take it for what it's worth. FAC has a Great product. :D

Hey Meezie, Did you have to do any special fitting for the Bolt Hold Open Device? Some other Fal-er and myself both had to "polish" down the inner hole for the plunger.
PS, I love mine, I am glad to hear more people are having good experiences with thiers. It gives me more confidence in the build.

19 kilo, The first one I did'nt have to do anything at all! It was amazing.

The second one, in which I just finished tonight, I had to clean up the bolt hold pin, and slightly polish the ejector block.

No problem :)

well a call to FAC says they have em and a call to mny FFL says he will order one tommorow.

That is just great, another reciever in the mix, and I thought that I had the decision already made up ;)

Great i wanna build another one. And my first G1 kit is sittin here waitin on the first two recievers i ordered from enterprise to arrive. Time for an FAC HHHMMMMM :)
