M&A's Stg-58 Hand picks are a bit pricey, and something else.
With the exception of being packed in last weeks Shredded office material.I am
really satisfied. And Guess What! No Storage Grease!
Today was a Great Day!
I received One in approx. 95% all matching condition. The hand guards and
plastic are a bit scatched, but everything else looks AS New.
The second one I got is in approx.90% all Matching, same scratches on hand
guards,stock and PG.
This one is also as new with the exception of a small patch of rust on the gas
block,hence the 90%.
The lower receivers on both are definitely like new.
This is one highly recommended Vender.
ALL Thumbs Up for These Guys!
Thanks! and Merry Xmas!

Yeah, I got one a couple weeks ago and it looked like a new rifle that had been never issued.
Everything was like brand NEW!!!
They are pricey, but well worth the extra money.

They dont advertise them but they also have a kit for $275 and I swear you cant tell the difference between it and the $350 kit.

My first two kits from M & A Parts were the $275 ones. When I ordered the one a couple weeks ago, they said that there were NO more of the $275 kits, only $225 and $350.

Sorry GW11, didnt mean to do that.
And it looks like they are out of them anyway. Oh well all good things come to and end. I have 4 of the $275 kits just setting here and a Inch kit one of these days Im going to have to get the receivers and put the things together.

Back when the prices were $225/$300 (not that long ago), I picked out a $225 kit from their table at a Houston Gun show. It was near new, very little wear to the finish. There was little differerence between the $225 and $300 kits.
After I payed for my kit I asked how they graded, the $225 kit having so little difference from the more expensive kits. He showed me a few places they looked when grading. Oddly, the bore wasn't one of them. The bores were full of crud but in excelent condition on all, so it turns out that it didn't matter. All the M&A kits at the time were matching, they may still be. They looked over the external finish for wear and dents, anything that a casual browser would spot. They look at the face of the hammer, which gives a good indication how much the rifle had been fired. The slide rail on the bolt carrier, etc. It was mostly cosmetic. The $300 and $300+ kits were beautiful, but no more functional than the $225 kits. I got away with a $225 kit that was in no way different than the $300 kits, except for a dented handguard. I did hand pick the best of the $225's :)
I've gone through 5 STG kits, two from M&A. those two ended up being both the best of the lot, and the least expensive. Things may have changed a bit in the last year or so, but if I were in the market for another, that's where I would go first.

I agree, they have been very good on sending what they say they have and quick. The last one that I got from them was matching except the bolt itself which was new (no serial) even the $225 kits come with a new bolt now.

The one from a couple weeks ago has a L1A1 bolt from Enfield.
My other kits. from a while back had all matching numbers, including the bolts.
