here's a few pics of life around here as of late...
first some pics of up in colorado north of cortez.
it's a national monument called, "canyon of the ancient's"

enjoy,,,, it was a real cool place... but a co2 drilling rig was in there.

it's a wash and not really any water running.
but,
you'd be amazed at where we take trucks !
crossing a river is not unusual.

yep, saw the handguards ..... rare is rare, and really cool, but from all the reports i get from this place, it's been boring..


now for some more..

any idea what kind of planes these are ??

Looks like crop dusters to me too - set back cockpit for a view of the ground from behind the wing.

FUN !

They made a lot of two seater biplanes that are in ag use. I won't ride again as I won't be that young and nervy again. But,,,,, the memory is STILL exciting.

I should add (for those in the know) that the one I rode in was just out of overhaul and the spray tanks with gear was not yet re-installed. Hence the presence of a back seat. :shades:
