That's ultra rare.

What's up with that barrel? the gas block looks like it's missing ears.

hard to tell from the picture but they look more like bakalite than wood..........

they are bakelite. I've seen one set before (which I bought, of course). I painted the rest of my rifle to match the handguards.

The ear, just one, is there. It just sits a little further to the left than most are used to.

Looks like an EX2 barrel.

I've a set of those HG's too, marked A704 on the inside of both halves.

Those hand guards are another mystery from the Fn works . I myself found one set 10-15 years ago and thats all folks . Don't know were they came from , don't know for who they were intended . Around the same period I've found also a green pistol grip . Remember , this was long before the US started to produce things for the Fal . It is impossible to find info , I wrote to Fn , reply was they don't know anymore , spoke to Fn workers , nothing .
Once I posted a pic of a laminated butt , and a worker told me they produced it for several years . I still have to find another one .
Conclusion ; I've nothing to say !

Ha! You're asking? That's like the Pope posing to the masses (no pun intended) an obscure inquiry on Christianity...

I'll I can say is "wow" those are unique.

Possibly... But I'd wager those are grey.
