I've read a few moans and groans about Tapco customers being impatient about products being a bit late (perhaps due to UPS problems) and boy do I understand the impatience experienced when that next item that is going to finally make life worthwhile being withheld by "the system". Well, I've gone through that a lot and am experiencing it now with a couple of "Not Tapco" vendors. Unfortunately, Tapco doesn't carry everything I need, so I must occasionally depend upon these other vendors to supply my habit. I spend a lot of time pestering them to try to find if they even have a record of my purchase and if it ever will be shipped. With Tapco, I assume everything is in order from a few years of experience. Bill, Buddy, George, Cynthia, etc. all go out of their way to help their customers. This type of service is unheard of in the latter half of this century--maybe in the 1950's, but as far as I can tell it went out in the '60's. I could mention several instances where the service from Tapco was so far above the call of duty, but Bill made me promise not to, so I'll honor that promise and just say that sometimes everything doesn't go perfectly. But just back up and remember that this company is responding to our requests and supplying our needs, and even lowering their prices to us when they can. So that means they get more business--they get busy--consequently they can no longer drop what they are doing just so they can get our "special order" out today (although they have done that, too). I'll respect the fact they are extra busy and if an order from Tapco is ever late (not happened up till now and I've placed more orders with them than I like to acknowledge) I hope I'll have the same patience with them that I'd have with an old trusted friend. Thanks, all of you at Tapco for a job well done, but sometimes unacknowledged
