View Full Version : Mags from Enterprise :-(

Recieved 4 of Enterprise's "New" mags today. At least one of them was new....
The others were full of "New" scratches, and "New" marks from clearly being used. Floorplates were fine, but the rest.... :(
2 of them also had some "New" surface rust on them as well.
If these are the $9.00 "New" ones, I shudder to think what the $5.00 "used" ones look like.
So much for me buying from Enterprise again.....
Seeing the rave reviews on the DSA ones, I think I'll take my business there.

JDLuton,
Sorry about the condition of the magazines. New should be new! I shared this with our shipping staff. I also had accounting credit your card $16.00 to adjust the mag price to $5.00 each. Again, sorry for the mistake and inconvenience. Best wishes.

Sincerely,
Lawrence

Edited for spelling.

The "new" ones I got from Entreprise were....well, new!!! And it was about the only thing I've ordered in the last three weeks that showed up when it should have...they must have an "in" with UPS!! I'm beginning to think my UPS man was kidnapped by space aliens or something....... ;)

Now ya know why the Entreprise website shows they are out of stock on the used mags...

I just receive my mag order too, I got the same thing. I ordered 4 "NEW" mags. Got 3 that looked pretty much new, all with Israeli markings, and 1 with those same scratches, dents and obvious signs of use, and no Israeli markings.

I had specifically ordered these for the Israeli manufacture. Considering that last time I ordered mags from Entreprise, it costs me to send them back, I figured I'd just accept the problem this time, not worth the shipping cost.

So far, two out of two mag orders messed up :o ....Someday I'll learn

Now if I could just convince them to put thier Israeli receivers on sale ;)

My buddy and I ordered some of these mags from Lawrence, other than the grease coating for storage, they were superb, better than the 8 dollar DSA mags, which by the way are top notch, not dissing either product.

Selective customer service.

1) They still owe me for return shipping on one order which they completely messed up.

2) I paid for a new mag and got a used one.

I have yet to receive my customer service.

scottgs-

So have you called Lawrence again and explained the details? He has a webiste Discussion Forum too. you might catch him there. He is frequently on the floor of EAI making things right for manufacturing.

Somehow, I don't think Lawrence is picking/packing your oder. Mistakes happen. I've seen the work done at tapco MANY times, and they have their handfs full keeping up w/ orders. They're human, just like us.

Go ahead, be a squeaky wheel! You might be pleasantly surprised!
