Williams receiver

I just got my William's replacement metric
receivers back yesterday and built my first one last night. ALL the issues I had with the first ones have been addressed. The DSA 16" STG timed at 11:30 and torqed right in there. The DSA LW lower fits perfect. The LS took some effort to install, but so did my IMBELS. I had to do NO parts or receiver modifications, period.
I used: a VG STG kit, DSA 16" STG barrel and LW brake, DSA LW lower and handguards, FSE PG, Penguin premium stock, DSA LW cocking handle. She weights in at #7, 2 oz. on a RCBS trigger scale.
I'll have to take her out for a test soon.

Sounds superb! I am awaiting the Williams LW lower for mine. Pics?? Yours sounds about as light as it gets. How did FWRA manage to shave nearly a pound off his? BTW, my Imbel kit w/ Ent. receiver,DSA scope mount, free float forend, scope, etc. is 13+ lbs. I cannot wait for a FAL that weighs in at CAR weight!!

I feel your pain. I'm waiting for my replacement receiver. Oh God, I just want to shoot my rifle! :(

i have not even got my first reciever yet(entreprise), but i saw the tactical elite last night from williams, bout 250 dealer cost, and this comes with the scope mount, whew, calling the dealer to get a williams reciever fix today....

Shot 60 rds.- First 20 rds. bolt/carrier combo was sticky at cam over and failed to lock up. Changed to another and ran great on a setting of 4-4 1/2 depending on ammo. Have to resight in, the front sight height I picked out of inventory was too short. Definitely a little more recoil at 7 lbs. weight. Will play more this week. :D
