Anyone own a knife made by these folks? I picked one of their knives today (M16-13Z) as a a trade. Anyone who owns one or the brand happy w/ the knife/tool? The one I got seems to be pretty well made; not in the same class as my bench made, but it feels like a good tool. Thanks for any feed back....off to search now.

I have fixed blade I bought a few years ago. The style is no longer made for them.
It's on my web gear and is called a Komodo I think. It is chisel ground so only one side needs sharpening. I like it and it has held up very well so far.

But, I dont use it like it is anything other than a knife.

I love mine! A fellow member here alerted me to a sale where a $120 folder was on sale at Big 5 for $20! I hustled over to the closest one and got the deal of a lifetime. I love the quality, and even if it's made in Taiwan, there are specs that are required. Hell, computer chip are made there. Go to Big 5 and check the prices on the trade first!

Just a small folder. Good steel, takes and keeps an edge.

I've carried the same knife you picked up since i was in 7th grade. I've carried it practicaly every day since. Im now a junior in college. Thats... 9 years... i've probably sharpened it 4 or 5 times... holds a good edge, and I use it daily.

Great knife... i'll be getting another one or two here for the future.

I've got half a dozen CRKT knives, including the one you mention above that I carry every day, and have never had a problem with any of them. Propably one of the best knives for the buck you can buy IMHO.

Thanks for all the replies! I'll use this knife as my truck knife I guess.

The AAFES run PX's carry them in Afghanistan with Enduring Freedom logos,I have 5.Heck they come in Ti and AL frames too.Soldiers buy them by the hand fulls. The working one I have has held up to much abuse. At the price it would be hard to beat.
