Dan's Grade III Imbel kit

Received one of Dans grade three imbel kits.

Exterior condition was better then expected (no paint on barrel). All small parts appear to be in good shape. Bore shows minimal erosion on gauge but has a fair amount of pitting towards muzzle. Muzzle device removed with vise grip. Butt stock and pad in better then expected condition, has nice sling attached to swivel. Lower and bolt carrier have matching SNs.

Handgaurd weren't in bad shape but were mismatched, one bipod, one non. Dan said he would send me a matching set to replace.

This kit seems to be nicer then many of the group buy kits. For $129 delivered I am happy.

I also got my grade 3 kit today. Second one i have bought from Dan. More finish than the first one. The H/G's are sweet, and the barrel is in exellent condition. I also got the South African 140rd battle pack with the kit for $15.00 what a deal... Thanks Dan I will be back.

I received my grade III kit today and was somewhat surprised that all the finish was gone from the front section, and the rest was very very worn. The metal on the handguards is all but worn thru, even the finish on the flashider is gone. Furniture is rough but not too bad. Barrel does not show any pitting but is very worn, most likely not usable. This was definitly not a drill or armory rifle.Since this is my first grade III kit I'm not sure I should have expected any better.

i received mine as well... only took 2 days to get here...

anyhow there was little finish left on the barrel, but the metal is good, furniture is good, and the barrel is good. From the looks of the wear, the gun didnt look like it was fired much, only carrier around and cleaned a lot.
