I just received 4,000 rounds of FNM Portuguese from Lippman, and this stuff is beautiful. Came in thick brown battlepacks of 200rds, cased 5 to a big wooden case (std ammo box with handles) all wrapped up in a cardboard box (seperate box per k of course). All very cool until the poor UPS man had to carry it to my door :D
I only opened one battlepack to check the headstamp and it appears to be 1980-era. Ammo is clean and brass is shiny.
Looks like I'll be set for awhile.....

That's a good point - maybe I should order some more -
And hey, while I'm at it, I really don't have THAT many mags around......(that other post about the 100 mags has me feeling pretty inadequate)
Maybe I should order some spare parts, too........

So, just when in the 1980s was this stuff made? Thanks

Hey limeyinaz
I just ordered 1k from Lippman last week and, I paid $140.00+ shipping which was $19.50 to OKC. Not a bad price but, I have not recieved my order yet. You can contact him at lippy@francomm.com :D

Try web page (http://lippman-enterprises.com). He is a really fine fellow to deal with. His shipments come out of Ohio.

Eric, the Ammo Man, www.ammoman.com (http://www.ammoman.com) is
OUT of Portuguese. I found this out two weeks after I called, confirmed availability, then ordered 3K @ $179.95 freight paid per thousand.
He did charge my Visa for the ammo he DIDN'T have, then offered me South African ammo at the same price. I cancelled, and my Visa was credited that day.
Still, when you call, confirm, & order
one expects delivery. He lost a VERY good customer.
Apparently, from other boards, I am not the only one dissatisfied with Eric recently. He had a good reputation
up till now.

Got my 4k of Port yesterday as well, same headstamp. I paid $150 delivered and got to spread the charges across 4 months. ;)

Just got back in about an hour ago. All went boom, positive feed and eject. From what I can tell, it's as accurate as any other I have. My range in the back yard is only about 50 yards, but the stuff grouped well out of my Izzy HB. I recommend the stuff. And, dealing with Lippy is easy too.
