My Brother (ephv)in-law is like most addicts, he refuses to freely and openly admit that he has a habit that he can't shake. You know the type, not that I'm one of those FAL addicts mind you, no, really, i'm not. I'm not I tell ya! Enjoy brother, just go with it, man!
E :D :D :D :D
Regards,
Jim

LAST FAL??????? BUWWWWHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I laugh at you! Man that is too funny. That's like waking up with a hangover and promising yourself to never do that again, and finding yourself in the same shape the next morning. Seriously ephv, don't fight it, the urge will come upon you about the time you get that one barreled to order another kit. If it hasn't happened already that is. :D :D :D Best wishes, enjoy that "Last" one. Dan.

Don't laugh too hard.

I have built my last FAL.
I now have everything I need and want.
Really.

I may get some accessories but that is all.

The primary reason I maintain contact with the FAL files now is entertainment purposes, the secondary reason is to look for accessories.

Red4--They sent me your receiver but made me promise not to tell so please keep this a secret. It's easy to say "the last FAL" because I have a G1 in the closet, an inch out being parked, and waiting on the receiver from Entreprise for "the last FAL" kit I have in a box. Three is enough. I don't need anymore. I can quit at anytime I want. I have done it many times. It's just the pressure of life-- no one understands me. This is only a diversion to keep me from cracking up. Huh? What was that? Voices? The voices again? One more? That's all and I can quit? Do you promise?
OK guys. I have it on high authority that I can almost quit. They promise. So don't think I can't do it. I can I tell you!
HA! Take that Master Blaster! You didn't think I could do it did you?

Sorry, boys, but since protocol dictates that devotees build one for every year of your life, there will be no rest until you are dead.
Hate to be morbid about it, but there you have it.
You old guys have got some catching up to do, so that'll be enough of this "last" one jive.

I think it is best stated by saying,

"I can quit anytime I want. I've done it many times."

Good one ephv! ;) :p

Ok, what's the deal here? My Brother bought an L1A1 a few weeks ago so I did too. Ya have to keep up right? We haven't even gotten to fire the things yet! Allthough I got some Port. .308 at a gun show this past weekend :D . Anyway, after examining them side by side, we decided we could make a really nice one by taking the best of both! So there it starts. The URGE  ! ! So now I spend hours looking in Shotgun news, advertisers web sites, and of course The FAL Files! I MUST BUILD! If for no other reason, just to make my brother keep up this time. Then I'll quit too! :D :D :D

So my statement stands. I am good to go.

Are you??</STRONG>

 I never made a statement about "my last FAL". All I said was that every time I hear someone say that they've built their last FAL or purchased their last kit, it never is. Sorry if you took it as an insult
