These are two class acts. The good guys. Guys you actually WANT to do repeat business with. Why? Because you know that you are a valued customer to them and not a burden, like some other companIes that we cOuld mention ;)

Harlan/FAC - Always responds very quickly to my e-mails. Appears very interested in retaining me as a customer (you know, like a real live individual person customer). Ready and willing to help or just field endless questions (Do you ever sleep?). So that MP5 (SW5) kit is now ordered and on its way - the receiver is to follow when my FFL dealer gets the copy to them next week. You now have my loyal business sir.

Harold/FSE - I was concerned about the reports of hammer failures and shot Harold a simple question regarding what I should do to prevent a failure. He almost immediately responded and advised that only 2% of suspect parts have failed but he was eager to replace ALL hammers that are in the field. I have three HTS sets and have a couple hundred rounds through two of them (with no problems) so I feel kinda bad replacing them at his cost including shipping(I want his business to grow and thrive, after all) so I even offered to pay up, a "handling charge" or something. He flatly refused and parts will be enroute ASAP. WOW! I am going to get spoiled here. I'm going to order 4 or 5 more FSE HTS sets just because - I don't need them right now! :D

With the integrity that these guys have shown I feel extreme confidence in sending them my hard earned money knowing that I am a valued customer.

THANKS!

MK

Thank you for the kind words.

Just by coincidence, we are now starting to carry FSE products. We will have the fire control sets in both inch and metric pattern, the folding charging handles for both inch and metric receivers, the metric pistol grip, and four fake flash hiders (inch, long STG58, short STG58, and short Belgian).

I think FSE is a class act, too.

Oh joy! Well, I know who I am going to order those 4 or 5 metric FSE H/T/S sets from! :D

Yes, I completely agree. Harold just shipped me my replacement hammer (and I never had a problem with the original!). I'm very pleased.

I've order from FAC 1/2 dozen times..all very pleasant experiences. Whenever possible I order Harlan's HPs, but I passed on his most current offering (I'm barrel-poor right now, and if I snatched an Indian kit I'd prefer to replace the barrel).

take care,
Tec

Good, start carrying Ironwood too. Or at least some kind of american wood stock and grip.

I think there is a good chance that U.S. wood FAL furniture will be offered by us in the not too distant future. When the production run is done, we will start to advertise.

Very cool, hoping for a G1 style set, and probably gonna put it off until next year.
If I can get the FSE set and the wood furniture at the same time that would be perfect. Thanks a lot.

I do regret a few things, but not my dealings with Harlan. I maybe expected too much once, was my problem not his, and he made it right. Harlan is a class act. I think highly of Harlan.

I asked a question on ammo distributors closser to my home on another board, since I was tired of 30$ shiping charges from kentucky where I had been buying. Harlan was cool enough to send me an email with ammo availability and that he was just 1 state over. For just one customer, that's beond advertizing, and into the realm of public service :) I figure there's a lot more productive things he could've been doing, so thanks,I'm getting ready to send an order!

The very first kit I got (R1) had some mis-matched handguards. Harlan exchanged them, even though he didn't need to. Dozens of kits later, I'm now more aware of what a 'good' kit is, and by all means my original handguards were good. Harlan could have refused the exchange. Instead, he sent me back a matching set in very good condition. He earned loyal customer. In fact, I just placed an order with FAC yesterday..

take care,
Tec
