And I ain't happy. I expected a little work (a touch of re-shaping here and there), but nothing like the MAJOR surgery this thing needed. Supposedly, the exterior was shaped and ready for final sanding. Bull. I kid you not, some of the areas on this thing hadn't been shaped AT ALL. The inletting was poorly executed and not centered. Holes were misdrilled and not clean (some re-drilling). Someone was trying to rush this thing out the door, and it shows. Not worth the $175 I paid. It's going back. I can cut from a blank with less effort than it would take to fix this thing.

I had the same problems with them. Try Great American Gunstocks. Everything I have ordered from them has been as advertised and well worth the money. www.gunstocks.com (http://www.gunstocks.com)

Rich,

Thanks for the info. I've been looking for a company to replace Rheinhart Fajen since they went out of business and sold all of their tooling. Believe me they have been added to my favorites list. Best of all, if I run across a good piece of wood for my next custom build I can send it to them for the retro fit. SWEET.....!!! RB

Got my response from Richard's....

Very professional and polite. I'll be returning this stock, but will maintain a high opinion of the company because of their customer service.

Sorry your stock didn't turn out the way you'd hoped, but that's Microfit. The good news is that they have a pattern for almost every bolt gun ever made. I bought a stock for my ZKK602 from them. It took a lot of shaping and fitting to get it right, but at least it was inletted for the action.
