Stovepipe

Well, after waiting a few years (guess it was only a couple of weeks, but sure felt like it!) it finally came. It's an IAI M-444, and is in super condition. After reading of others experiences I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. Will be a fine addition to my G3, M1A and AR. The finish is very good as are the pistol grip and ass, although the forearm could be a little better. Upon stripping it for cleaning and inspection, (holding my breath) I was greatly releived to find everything looked as great as the exterior. No sign of wear, painted over rust, one piece
piston, everything is tight and is one solid rifle. The bore is bright and shiny, sharp rifling and hopefully shoots as good as it looks. For those who wander it's all Imbel, type 3 receiver. Hopefully Sunday I'll get it
out to the range and get a few rounds through it. But so far it looks like I got a good one
and if it shoots as good as it looks, I'ts well worth the $700. Just thought I'd pass it
along. :D
