I just brought home a pair of Yugo 48A Mausers from my dealer's place, and they are sweet!
The lesser of the two "excellent condition" rifles has apparently seen very little use, and is truly in excellent condition. All numbers match, and there is hardly a flaw in the metal finish. The stock appears to be Walnut, and the only flaws in it are some very light handling marks that you'd only notice if you were looking for them. The bore looks new.
The better of the two has one of the nicest stocks I've ever seen on a C&R. It's red oak, beautifully finished, and looks like it has never even been handled. The bore is pristine. I wouldn't be surprised if it was test fired, sighted in, and put in storage.
The crests on both of the receivers look like newly minted coins.
The total cost for both, with handpick fee and shipping, was $230.05.
If InterOrdnance delivered like this, instead of screwing its customers, it would still have my business.
These are probably the nicest looking C&R rifles that I own, now. If they shoot anywhere near as good as they look, one of them might get a scope, and become a hunting rifle (assuming I start hunting again).
