I ordered one of the "Original Brass Butt Plates" for my L1Al. When it came in it was aluminum. I contacted Entreprise and they said that is all they sell and the ad they have is wrong. So don't be surprised if the "brass" seems a little light. It is new, so it does look better than the trashed ones that come with the kits.
