STG58 Kit from M&A

Hey all...just thought I'd drop a note in and tell you about the STG58 kit I got in trade for my reloading equipment.
It came from M&A, VERY nice bore, no pitting at all! Finish was probably 90%. Just normal wear, NO dings or dents anywhere. The only thing that looked kind of crappy was the carrying handle, so I made a new one out of 6061 Al I had laying around. I'll go out and put a few hundred rounds through it, then get it refinished. VERY impressed with the quality of the kit. It was much better than I had expected. I'll post some pics of it in the next few days...got hook the Digital camera back up :D

My $225 STG58 M&AParts kit was also excellent. Easily 90% of the finish left,
I'm tempted to assemble w/o refinishing, but it would look like new if I repark'd to fix the one or two bare metal spots on side of the lower (no corrosion yet), and very little
evidence of firing.

saw their kits at the tulsa show in october. dam nice looking kits. i would have bought one if i didnt already have so many.
