I broke a range box latch I purchased from Midway (sometime ago). I e-mailed them about buying a new latch. The service rep ask a couple of questions and today I was emailed that a new latch was on the way NC and the UPS tracking number. I have dealt with them for years and have never been burned. Just thought you should know.

I have bought a lot of stuff from Midway over the years, mostly reloading components and bulk brass.

The prices were pretty good, usually comptetitive to the extreme, which suits my "cheap bastard" mindset. Their old prices included shipping, which was usually an advantage to those of us out west.

They now charge shipping separate, probably fair, but now it is a lot more trouble to find out what the 'delivered' cost will be. Delivered cost is the only cost that really matters. I haven't bought from them since but probably will again. Their service was always good, and their sales and specials were money savers.

Since Midway "lowered" their prices, split out their shipping and now charge a fee for any orders under $40.00 , they lost me as a customer! :( I spent many $ with them but they will not get any more of my hard earned money.
There was nmothing wrong with their poilcy concerning free shipping. I find it interesting that they split out the shipping and "lower" their prices. DUHHHH Split out the shipping and the prices will be lower.
