I have a new, unfired nhm-91 that I got in trade today. I am going to make it U.S. compliant with a TAPCO g2 fcg, and an ironwood designs stock set. I need help with some instructions on how to install the g2 fcg. Pics and step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated along with a list of required tools. Thanks in advance for any help, HH.

These pics show a Yugo FCG minus the rate reducer. The disconnect has a deep hole for the spring which can be squeezed to accept the slave pin or, in the case of the G2 group, the sleeve.

With the parts assembled on sleeve or slave pin they can be placed into position in your receiver and secured with the axis pin.

Hope this helps.

P.S. The wire retainer or "shepherd's hook" holds the axis pins against the left side of the receiver.

Find the long leg of this and press down near the trigger axis pin with a screwdriver, levering against the left side of the receiver. This frees the trigger axis pin and relieves pressure on the hammer pin. Remove the pins and the shepherd's hook comes out, along with your hammer and FCG.

Reassemble in reverse order.

Thanks for the info! It doesn't sound all that complicated, so just a screwdriver and something to puch the retaining pins out?

An old screwdriver with a small notch dremeled into the blade at one corner would be ideal. Mostly the axis pins will push out with finger pressure after the retaining wire is released.
