How many rounds of .308, on average, can be loaded per pound of powder?

7000 Gr per Lb...

If you presume .308 loads avg 42-45 Gr that should get you Close..
Someone posted a real Good link the other day, I will see IF I can find it..

Hmmm, so my rough, eyeball guestimation that I'd only get about ~150 rnds per pound wasn't "just my imagination". I gotta find a cheaper, local source of powder!

Yep, that's why I buy in 32 to 48 lb quantities.

7,000 grains per lb. at 43 gr per .308 you should get about 160 per pound of powder. It works out to 162.7 but the powder measure should not go so low.
