Cold Steel Recon1

i have ahd one of these, a tanto semi-serrated, for about five years. in general i have been very happy with it, it is a tough knife and i have enjoyed the unusual locking system (dont know what this is called). the lockign system is begining to have problems now, when trying to open or close, it sticks at about 30 degrees, and feels like the metal parts are snagging on something. the knife used to open and close almost without effort once i leaned the tricks of it. for less than 60 bux, i have gotten my moneys worth- i am just hoping someone might have an idea of how to correct it. thanks

Deerollman, I would send it back to the factory. I'm sure they will fix it for free they seem to be a stand-up company who stand behind their products. They may even replace it with a new one, you don't have anything to lose.
