FAL-Reloading results (http://www.therallypoint.org/forum/index.php?topic=1293.0)

Anyone have any 150-155gr bullet recipes that can beat that?

I still have more testing to do with a recent batch of handloads, I really don't feel like having to try too many more powders.

I'm sure many of you have gotten good results with the 168gr bullets, but I'm looking for a flatter shooting load than that.

155 grain A-MAX
Max charge of Varget
LC 94 match brass
CCI 200 primer

well under 2" 10 shot groups if I do my part and take my time(1 shot per minute or less).

Try 9 or 10 in one group at 200 Yds and see how it does. My 150 Hornady FMJ-BTs do about 3.5":

I'm experimenting with some IMI 150gr and N540 next. I'll post results the next time my wife lets me out of the house.

My DSA eats the plastic tips on the A-MAX and then they cause jams.

My M700 likes them though.

I always wondered about that.

bullet tips getting sheared off ..DSA ....noooooooooo/////he he.....easy fix for that ...open up the rail width ..pm if ya wanna know how ...has worked for 200 other folk ...when ya start getting out to 4-600 yards ..really makes a difference ..making swiss cheese regularly ot of my 17 " gong at 512 yds ..mil-sup ammo ...
really scary thinkin how many of the guys out there are probably shoving bullets back into the cases while an 18 lb spring shoves a round into the ramp and comes to a dead stop ...dont think the can -o- lur...is gonna hold taking that kind of whackin ... all the extra tme invested in reloading the perfect bullet ...then ya beat hell out of it before the shot ...doesnt seem to make sense ...
