I have a Beretta 21 extended barrel. I would like to have it threaded for a silencer. The O.D. of the barrel, like my P22, is too small for the 1/2x28 threads on the can.

So here is the plan.
I want my barrel either threaded for 9mm X .75 or 8mm X .75 depending on which adapter I use. This way I can purchase either a P22 or Mosquito adapter put it on the barrel and be done.Essentially the same set up as a P22 or SIG Mosquito. But finding a smith who does metric threads is not that easy. SOOOOOOOOOOOO...who can help.

EDIT
I ended up going with the SIG Mosquito adapter from Tactical Innovations. The adapter looks like it was made for the weapon. The P 22 adapter had a smaller I.D. thread and was too long.

I just wanted to throw a bone to BoxofRocks aka David Saylors of Saylors machine. he did a great job on threading the barrel. The cost was very reasonable. Now all I need is someone who can blue the barrel. I can't wait to try my can on it. Such a lil' thing.

Here is a Picture

Just curious, why a can on such a short barreled 22 ?
Always thought you needed at least 6" of barrel on a 22, otherwise you'r burning powder right out into the can.

What ya going to do for sight's ?

first, why not?

second, Not true. A P22 barrel is just over 3 inches.

third, if you need sights on a Beretta 21, your using it incorrectly. The gun was designed for putting one into someone from 3 feet, not to snipe someones eye out at 500yds.

I will post a picture of the gun with the can later.

Here are the pictures. I have not finished the barrel as of yet. Looking for someone to blue the barrel at a reasonable cost.
