Newbie FAL ??

Looking for a FAL and I seen a DCI Rec Dan Coonan. What is this? Any comments welcome.Seen on G B

Are you wanting to build? You'll need a parts kit plus compliant parts and tools. If you just want a FAL, I'd suggest buying a complete rifle in the Marketplace or from DSA.

DCI receivers for building are getting mixed reviews. Suggest doing a search function on DCI receivers and reading the reviews.

For a little more money DSA is the best. I'd buy their stg58 rifle and be done with it.

It's getting hard to do a first time build for less than $800 or $900 these days.

I personally would not buy a DCI.

Thanks That is a complete rifle for sale on G B Yes I have noticed that it would be better off to buy one that is ready to shoot. I am looking for either a FAL or Cetme. I am in eastern Ks and would like to find something close. I do have a couple of things to trade. A Mak 90 223 and a CB Mac 10 9 mm
