that primers are fixing to dry up (again)? I heard this from a close friend, who was told this by the local gun shop owner. This guy (the owner) has been pretty reliable up 'til now, and his sales volume is WAY up there. He doesn't need to increase sales by using scare tactics.

According to him, all future primer production will be for military ammo production. When distributors run out, they're gonna stay out.

I will say that Locally the gun shops and big retailers are out of the most common ones.

Large pistol seems to be the most scarce. I know allot of the on line retailers have primers but if you only want to buy 1000 then you look local.

I have just about all I need of LR,SR,SP but needed some LP. Everywhere I looked they were out. Hope to pick some up at the show next weekend.

No shortage here at the recent shows....

Im out of LR, but forgot to get them at the last show like an idiot. And Im certainly not paying 32 bucks a box for the damn things.

The only thing that I am sure that is no shortage of is greed.

Only part of that shortage would be alot of people are starting to get back into reloading... im looking to start. I have brass saved up, and am starting to stock components.

shortage my ass. I just paid 13.60/1000 for 5000 primers. Make that 15000, if you count the ones I ordered for my friends.

Something tells me this whole shortage thing, wether it be ammo, bullets, primers or brass, is bullshit.

Save the fact talon isnt demilling and is outta business.

People are hording. It happens anytime they fear the new ruling party in the government. I had had no problems putting a little in inventory a month or two back, but what will happen in the months or years to come is anyone's guess. I like to buy when I can, not when I have to.
