About 6 months back, I bought a box of mixed sporting goods at a garage sale. Among the treasures in the box I found a CRKT folder w/ a 2.5 inch blade ( I believe it was from the discontinued "Commander" series). The liner lock consistantly failed under minimum preasure along the spine and the tip of the blade was broken off.

In early Jan. I finally got around to sending it in to CRKT with a short note explaining the back story and requesting that, if possible, please repair the lock ( I had already put a new tip on the blade) and if it was not possible dont bother returning it.

Well today Iget home and sitting on my steps was a package from CRKT and when I opened it, I didnt find my knife, I found a NEW Summit series Pike's Peak
I have to say, any company that will honor a warranty on a knife when presented by someone other that the original owner is a damn fine company to do business with

+1.

I have a couple M16 CRKT knived and the pocket clip screws kept backing out. I didn't have and couldn't find the right microscopic Torx bit for them and when a finally lost a screw I called and asked a price for replacement screws and a wrench. The person at the other end took my address and said that she'd send screws and a wrench, gratis.

Great outfit.

Bought a M16Z quite some time ago (7 years) and lost the screws, never thought about calling them. I've carried this knife for just about every day for the last 7 years, it has held up WELL. I am a firm supporter of them.

Just got one of the M16's with the tanto, partially serrated blade. So far so good. Had it about a week.

I took the pocket clip off, and I'm not sure I like that AutoLawk feature. Damn that thing is hard to close!
