How much harder are they than a regular #200 or #250? Should I expect Miss-fires in a Bolt action? Just picked up a case on the cheap from Grafs...

I have not seen a problem IE they will not fire. Treat them as regular Magnum primers. That was a good deal at $59.49 for 5000. I got mine.

Most stock bolt guns have a heavier firing pin fall than most semis...

CCI #34 primers will work fine...

What time did you call? I called right at 9:00 and got a busy signal, called back at 9:02, and let it ring 20 times and got into their holding pattern, and talked to a real person at about 9:10, order finalized at 9:15.

To those that missed them, Grafs is running some really nice weekly specials at 50% off in honor of their 50th anniversary. Only 50 of each Item.

I did it on the web 79.98/5000, that is still $20.00 cheaper than the last 5000 I bought.

Don't feel too bad, I wrote it on the calendar, and set an alarm clock for 9:00.

I am EST, so my 9:00 is their 8:00...

My total was $140, case of primers, 10# corn cob, 200 168 grain HP's, Copper remover, and a brick of Mag-tech SR primers to try.

I should buy another of those lee priming tools, mine is almost worn out. Probably only has 25,000 primers through it, I had to replace the lever a few times from mashing primers into crimped brass. The plastic body that the plunger rides on is so badly worn that I have to "jiggle" the thing to get a primer started into the pocket.

I can't find these "specials" on the web site. Am I missing something, or was it in a flyer? I'm supposed to get their e-mail alerts but haven't seen anything about these things.

$85 delivered /w hazmat is a very good price for 1 case. I paid 84.50 delivered from Powder Valley, but freight and hazmat was split over 40k primers and some powder (not all mine Mr. abc guy).

It was. I have been waiting to buy from Wideners watching there stock but when I saw the flyer....... Also I should have planned a little better since Graff's will ship primers and powder on the same hazmat.

All in all it was a good deal.

Graf & Sons and Wideners are two very good vendors to deal with. The CCI #34 primer buy was a great one. I may never have to buy large rifle primers again!
