All my reloading manuels are old enough to not list this round. First qestion is .355 or .357 projectiles? I use both in my 38 Supers. Any favorite powders and loads? As much as the boy shoot this round he will save big bucks by getting me these dies for Christmas. He did forget to send his saved brass !

The bullets are .355, but a lot of 9mm projectiles do not work well with the 357 Sig. The ones that work the best for me, are the bulk 115 gr hp bullets I bought from Dillon years ago, might be Winchester. Use a slow powder, I used AA #9 and WW 296, and be careful of bullet setback. You can get load data at www.accuratearms.com. You can also use 40 S&W cases, but reduce your load as they are not as strong as 357 Sig cases.

Speer makes a bullet specifically for this round, though I can't remember off the top of my head just what it is. I would think that insuring that your expander plug is on the small side (.350" or so) would improve neck tension, and might allow the use of more bullets. Google 357 Sig, and you'll find a ton of info.

Don't use .40 S&W cases - they're too short.

Alliant Power Pistol powder is highly recommended for the .357 Sig.

Thanks for the replies and sorry for the time lapse on posting! Forgot about it. I will post my results after a range trip.
