Pardon my ignorance guy's but I have another noobie ?. I have 2 of the $150 kits from board vendors and was wondering if I could get them built into Izzy lookalikes with a 16.5 barrel and a 18 inch barrel? I was looking at buying Izzy furniture from GPG or some other vendor for the project but don't know what else I would have to do to make project legit other than 922r compliance parts ie:(do I need a new barrel or can the kit barrel work or do I need a heavy barrel!). Also I was wondering if I could ever use the kit furniture for any other project or is the kit furniture a throw away set that is not good for a project build ever!?:fal:

http://gunthings.com/israeli.htm

they list all the diiferent parts that make up an Izzy rifle, also at the bottom of the list is pic of an IZZY Heavey barrel and a Light barrel. depending on how much you are willing to spend in time and money it can be done piece by piece.

basicly the standout features are the gasblock, furniture, and lower/selector.

sure why not ! i thought you might be wanting an exact clone, LOL
they should fit, handguard, spacer, i think a liitle tweak is needed at the gasblock.

i think the Izzy handguards look cool as hell on any basic rifle:shades: :fal:

Hi Big54R , I know 'the pain' of liking a particular style...I myself am a self professed STG58 and G1 junkie, those are my 2 favorite variations.Hell I am building a 'G1 Para' right now.

Good luck on your builds!
