Silver soldering G1 FH

Due to the unusual shape of the opening that fits over the barrel, won't soldering this on leave an area that would be very difficult to clean? Seems the only way to clean would be to spray gun scrubber in there followed by a spray oil.

The barrel isn't threaded, so if you install a sleeved FH wh would you have to silver solder it? I don't think that ATF anticipated G1's.

You don't have barrel threads so no soldering is necessary. This does not give you open license to mount and use your flash hider, however. There are "de-fanged" replacements available or you can even sleeve your original. Best of both worlds.
