Just got the flyer. Not sure if they are only on the west coast but I just picked up a Columbia River Titanium 3" lock blade (wasp) model 8012 Retail $129.99 on sale for $20
The 2.5" model is also on sale for $20 Reg. $119.99.
They also had a 65mm Celestron spotting scope reg. $249 on sale for $89. Had to pick that up as well. Santa needs gifts too. ;)

I loved that store when I lived in Cal. Are they still selling piles of C&R rifles?

Yeah, mostly Nagants these days but occasionally they get some Enfields and Mausers. Hell, they even had some Garands and Schmidt Rubins a while back(pretty beat) but the prices were decent.

Thanks for the tip! Scored the last one at one of the stores in Spokane! For a hunting knife, check out the Elk Ridge ER-010! Gorgeous polished fixed blade with trademark cutout in blade by bolster. Reg. $79.99 for $19.99. Perfect gift item. And no, I don't work there!

You're welcome! There were so many good prices on knives I was tempted to buy one of each that was on sale but I restrained myself so as not to have to explain myself to the wife. :P

I called one of the Big 5 stores in Salt Lake City before Christmas. The manager said that they were sold out, but he would check his computer. I wanted three at this price, but he found four in Texas. He called me last week and I bought all four from him. Very nice Knife for $20.

Thanks for the tip...my youngest daughter got one for Christmas, and I couldn't resist the folding Kabar on sale next to it, so my other daughter got a knife, too.

I sure hope your daughters are the tom boy type, otherwise that is like getting the wife the fishing rod/reel combo that you wanted for Christmas.

After spending Thanksgiving with all their cousins, they were the only ones without a lockback pocket knife and felt left out. So far, they carry them every where they go.
I accidentally left the price tags on the boxes (the non-sale prices) and they think I really dropped a lot of money on the knives.

Sounds like they liked their knives.
Accidentally? ;)
