View Full Version : Tim Wind does Canadian

And I get a woodie or two!

So here's the story. I had a ratty ORIGINAL C1 L buttstock, lots of dings and dents, yadayada. I know how, but Tim KNOWS HOW. So off in a box goes the buttstock, some original C1A1 HG (deep purple the stain was so argh!) leaves, and an IWD PG that was too light by half.

Tim does his stuff. He even sends back detailed instructions on how to make it all pretty. He included his magic potion, and even a nitrile glove. Talk about taking good care.

The woods are all as matched as bright sunlight and different origins can allow! Stunning, and the buttstock- it isn't as smooth as a baby's butt, but it is a marked improvement., sort of rack grade, instead of bottom of the barrel grade.

My hat's off to Tim, for improving the looks of the fiurniture, and for the personal attention each and every piece got.

They have a great matching color and the marks gives them character (been there done that look). Excelsior.:)
