"may be machinegun brass" equals probably is. Ive seen demilled remington brass (wont have to be trimmed or resized" for less lately but dont recall which vendor had it. Try GIBrass or Pats,it was one of those IIRC.

How does the Remington brass compare to Winchester and Lake City? How long has it been since Remington has had a military contract? All replies appreciated.

I bought 1k of Pat's Rem .762 military brass a year ago(RA 60). I bought the stuff that was also swaged for the primer crimp. The brass from a year ago has a fair amount of runout (8 thou) but it is ready to load. Resizing and neck turning did not reduce the runout. Firing them in my AR10 reduces case runout to 2 thou.

It seems like very sturdy brass. You might want to weigh them and work up a unique load.

I have used the midway for the last few years-there is less Lake City in the last few batches, but all of it is decent brass
