Shellholders,Plates,Conversion kits

I got the Lee reloading book and have been reading up. When I order a press ,besides the dies, what do I need in the way of shellholders, plates, tool holders and conversion kits?

The catalogs and book are vague.

With a single stage press you need a set of dies and the appropriate shell holder for that caliber.

On a progressive press you need a shell plate which is basically 5 shell holders in one.

Not familier with "tool holder" but is probably reffering to die holders that are interchangeable like the current piggybacks that allow you to keep your dies adjusted and you change them when you change calibers.

Conversion kit is a Dillon term. From what I understand with them you order their presses specific to a caliber such as 9mm and then order conversion kits for the other calibers.

I'm sure others will elaborate.
