Okay - here is another kit up for auction. It is one of the excellent kits that were around 8-9 years ago. I had three of these; I sold one to DarkEarth two months ago, had one built by CMP Armory and was going to keep this one in reserve but now I need to raise some funds.

Here is what DarkEarth had to say two months ago about the kit he bought from me:

Hey Brian.

Sorry for not letting you know I recieved it.

The kit you sold me is actually the nicest one I have out of 7 other various kits including refinnished G1s and South Africans and Imbels.

Soon after, I found that DSA has re-listed STG kits for sale and I ordered up one of those too.

I'll soon be selling off a couple of the G1 kits and the two Imbel kits to make room for more STG builds and maybe a couple new part builds from DSA barrels/front ends. etc.

And I am very happy with it. Much appreciated.

I believe the lower, bolt and bolt carrier are all true Belgian, serial # 7060. The lower has been completely disassembled for cleaning and all the small parts have been soaking in a baggie of CLP.

Shipping will be $20.00 to anywhere in the USA.

Auction will end 11/16/2006 @ 8:00 PM EST

Bidding will start @ $300.00 USPS MO or PayPal + 3%

This auction will include only what is shown in the pictures. There are missing parts from the kit. They include charging lever, BHO, locking shoulder and pivot pin.

E-mail works best for me at brian_1498@msn.com

I'm also selling my Israeli HB FAL here (http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=93&t=392231)

Member (Lee Carpentieri) stated in thompsonjoedeals auction....

"The first 20,000 Stg-58s were Belgium produced"

So TangBang, is this one Belgium produced?

Folks , I dont know where TangBang found these kits, but the one he sold me awhile back looks brand new. The only "old" on this kit is the "school" lol! You can even see in the last picture that the handguard screw looks like its never seen a screwdriver.

Great luck with the sale TangBang! She's a doozy.

Yes, the complete lower, bolt and carrier are Belgian.

The front end is austrian (1xx,xxx - don't remember the serial # right now but if it is important I can get it). Barrel is amazing.

James at CMP Armory thinks I am unwise for letting this kit go but my recent purchases require that I raise some funds quickly.

So is the auction on this thread? or on another thread on the forum? I am strongly thinking of bidding! Love those STG's!

BTW-do you know if DarkEarth still has the G1 kits and the conditions of them or can you give me any contact info?

Thanks for a response!

THIS is the thread for that STG above.

Yes I still do have two of those kits left, but i've just offered them to someone for a trade review. So for the time being, they are bieng held in reserve. Thanks for asking though. Personally, im trying to get my hands on more STG kits myself:shades:

This is what my STG looks like after having it built by CMP Armory - it was a kit just like the one above that I am selling and has had no parkerizing or coating of any kind. Looks great with a factory DSA receiver:
