Everytime I put about 200 rounds through the l1a1 the pistol grip comes lose and so I must tighten the screw. what could be causing this. I tighten the crap out of it and it still comes lose eventually. What can I do?

There should be a star type lockwasher under the head of the screw. If not...A standard type split lock washer will work. If it's a slotted head screw make sure your using a well fitting screwdriver head so you can give it lot's of torque without the head getting buggered or slipping before max torque is applied.

Yeah, just a plain jane split lockwasher from the local harware store. Make sure the OD is not too big and the ID not too small!

You might also need to use a little blue lock-tite. I had to eventually do that to keep my L1A1 grip from coming loose (even with the star lock washer in place)

PM me yer address and I'll send you an allen head screw with a locking washer.
It'll take more torque than the slot head, and should stay put.
Vince is a slot head and he's totally unscrewed.
