Does anyone know of a website that walks you through a kit build step by step? This way I wont need to bother you kind folks every few minutes.

If you are determined to build it yourself, why don't you get Gunplumber's video and book? That should provide you with what you need.

Don't know of such a website but I'll second riflemans' recomendation. Best tool you can buy to build a fal is Gunplumbers book and video.

you've pretty much found it here. Go back over the archives and FAQs. I know they did a build a while back on http://www.cruffler.com
Just go back over previous articles, it's there somewhere.

I found after reading for hours ,buying lots of stuff, watching the gunplumber video ,that I want to make a FAL out of these parts!bought a G! from tapco cleaned it up got my USA parts, FA-FAL rec.,then I got Dans grade 3 parts.this is great having the parts in the cut off receiver you can see how the locking shoulder works, mag catch ect...things I noticed most was Dans kit the lower fits and snaps into my receiver,G1 didnt fit right doesnt "snap" shut.barrel on G1 hand times to 11 0'clock,Dans times to 10?have more questions than ansewers but I'm addicted and one day I will have a working Fal.
