View Full Version : Rosin question

Okaaayyy.... I'm looking at this hard block of rosin. Do I rub it on? Do I melt it and pour it on? Do I smash it into dust and sprinkle it on? Do I chew it and wait for it to melt before I put it on? Do I smoke it and watch the barrel melt?

Chew it first, then smoke it
Report back what happens!
(sorry - I have no idea - I'll be curious to see the answer, too)

I used to hammer it until it turns to powder. Year later I read in one of the Brownell's kinks using a sugar. I tried and it works just fne.

You want powdered rosin, the same stuff that people with sweaty palms use for: handguns, gripping a bat, pitching(the ole rosin bag), etc.
I didn't even know it came in a block.
Return it; or, make it into a powder using sandpaper(alot will be lost until the paper loads up), or the part of a cheese grater for powdering. Both
will leave your hands stiff, from the work. Get the powdered.
