Has anyone used one?

It appears to look pretty close to the orignal. Anyone know if its BATF approved? aka larger in diameter that the original so the "grenade launching round, can't fit over it?"

It's a non-functional barrel weight so BATF would not have to approve it. It's also not sized to fit any of the accessories, so no problem there. Does have external "lumps" which mimic original profile. Probably as close as you're going to get.

Thanks!

But it is a muzzle brake correct? According to the rpbusa.com site it says it is.

It is NOT a brake. Holes/slots DO NOT go all the way through. It is no more of a brake than piece of garden hose stuck on the end of the barrel. But, it does look cool.

"no more of a brake than piece of garden hose stuck on the end of the barrel"

Hmmmm - I might have to try that :D

Seriously, though - the FSE muzzle weight does look pretty cool - I was at the range with Red4 (who's got one) and we had to go around in circles with some guy 'cause he wouldn't believe that it wasn't a flash hider until he stuck something in the "holes" that weren't there!

Well, thats too bad. I was hoping it was a muzzlebrake that was sleeved over.
