Anybody got any experience with tightening up the pad on the bottom of the BHO (IMBEL style) It is loose in the tube or rod that makes up the body of the BHO considered soldering or brazing -dont think the materiels will support that --not sure..press ,peen , solder, weld ---replace maybe ?????

First of all, we aint talkin' about an irreplaceable part here.
Knock out the retaining pin for the tab. Degrease everything. Reassemble with JB weld to shore-up the slop.

If its not too loose, a drop of locktite will do the trick.Generally, I have found that if you want to loosen or remove something after using locktite, without heat, you can soak it with/or in WD-40 for 24 hrs.

I've got two of them with that problem..don't wanna weld because I think the heat would nuke the spring. Thought about JB weld, I guess locktite is a contender, too.
I didn't see a pin or any obvious sign of means of attachment, either.
Anyone?

Well, since a Dremel would unfortunately be inappropriate in this rare case...
1) Degrease the assembly as best as you can. Dry.
2) Add a drop of SUPERGLUE or JB WELD as required.
What the heck, it's a non-critical cheapie part that's easy to replace anyway!!
