Anybody know where to get a collapsing fishing rod? I have one that I got off ebay, but can't find more.
Thanks!

I have not got one, but I have been thinking seriously about it. I saw some at Dick's Sporting Goods that went down to about 30" or so. Let me know how it works.

Cabela's used to list several in their catalog.

I have seen them at Wal-Mart.
Find a Pocket fisherman sold on TV years ago.. works great and still being sold.

Most "telescopic" fishing rods are rubbish - I'm in the trade, so I've seen a lot.
If you want something that packs small but isn't going to let you down, then look for a rod that breaks down into four or five separate sections, rather than a "tele".
Quality costs $, so it depends on what you expect from the rod as to whether or not a cheap one will do.

Wife bought me one for Christmas a few years back from Cabela's.
It's a baitcasting type, that has a simple zebco panfish reel on it.
Packs real nice.
Pretty whippy, but it does the job for most fish up to about 3-4lbs.
I also have a backpacking IM7 graphite 4pc fly/spin rod. I like this rod very much. I got it at Wal mart a few years back.
