Hello folks

Well I have been using this acog-trijicon scope that i recieved as a gift.

Do all ACOGs have illumination?...I dont see anything glowing in mine

I read sometimes they "wear" out..maybe my radioactive has reached well past its half life?

I dont have it near me right now ..but maybe soem of you optic experts can tell what model i have buy this pic

I hit my targets with pretty much ease,,havent shot anything past 300 yds yet tho..but the Steel Ram has been killed many ..many times..The scope works great..but if it does have a "night Light"..i would love to see it

Did you check it in dim light? They only glow in the dark.

You might try this as well....

Go into a dark room and let your eyes adjust for a few minutes before you look. They DO NOT glow brightly. They are relatively "dim".

Give it a chance, ACOGs are sweet optics.

Hope this helps,

The optic fibre should be visible in the pic from that angle, so it looks like he's got the TA01 indeed. So it's working the way it's supposed to (if it glows in the dark).

Yep, only with the fiber optics are they going to be glowing bright in daylight.

thnk you folks..I feel slightly dumb..I got all this kikazzz stuff..and Am still learning how bad azz my cousin was on his choices of fireamrs and his gunsmithing skills...Love you Mark..thnks

the mount is a LArue Double lever throw , on a GP COP mount...Well...Im actually not even sure if its a larue..It looks the same to me..but dotn see any"name brand"

UNfortunatley..thsi is the 2nd GP mount which has now begun to have a very slight side to side movement,,,,,Like the first mount after about 400 rounds it began to move...same with this one. I have one more Brand New GP COP mount to use. Not sure what I will do with theses other 2..They work great when i use my iron sights..lolol..well...kind of funny

Ted, it looks like it might be a early style gg&g mount.

OK, that would be an ARMS #19 ACOG Channel Throw Lever Scope Mount.

sorry, but you are wrong on this one...

I have two ta01 acogs, and they are both illuminated, both are over 6 years old as well and they still glow at night very well.

I had some problems with zero shift using an arms mount in the past... I use larue mounts now and have never had that problem again!!

secondarily, you may want to blue loktite the screws on the topcover, in case that is trying to move.
