Everything that I've seen with the "Guide Gear" logo has been complete and utter trash.

I have a hunch Gary's "Lifetime No-Question Return Policy" will be the next thing to go with the new owners.

I bought the Guide Gear 8x40 binoculars w/turn up eye cups.
They were made by Barska. The barrels are out of register and you have to turn the focus wheel past focus and then dial it back to get the two barrels to focus. They are worse than the $10 binoculars I bought at some Chinese junk store a few years back.

With most optics, you get what you pay for. I'd do a search on "optics" and do some reading. There are guys here that have forgotten more about about optics than I know. Besides Sportsmans Guide is operated by french shysters.

There are no good quality factory-new rifle scopes to be had for less than $200.
If you understand this, you will avoid a lot of disappointment and frustration.
