View Full Version : gas regulator C-Spring keeps popping off...

my L1A1. Rifle functions great on #5 setting
But every now & then the C-Spring (clip) jumps over the ridges which are supposed to
secure it and it ends up on the gas tube!
Anyone know what causes this? :confused:

Is it on backwards? Do the bent tabs point toward you or the muzzle? Or is it streached out of shape? The tabs should point toward you, with the main "ring" closest to the gas block. HTH, Dan.

It's on right (tabs pointing towards me)and
not mis-shapen (is that a word?).
Still...it just pops off from time to time.
