View Full Version : Removing G1 QD Flash Hider

The quick detach flash hider on my G1 kit wasn't so quickly detachable. The spring clip that secures it to the barrel lug was stuck, so I had to pry it up a little to loosen it.

Here's a hint. The flash hider is marked with directions in German with arrows for installation and removal. "Auf" is "On", and "Ab" is "Off ".

It's easy to move the Flashhider in the "ab" direction if you press the spring before turning.

Very nice G1 Claus.
I wish we could bring them over here and leave them in one piece.
