Got the mags today. Can't beat the price. Finish uneven, but who cares? Followers and feed lips all in great shape. Don't miss this buy!
I also asked about the special they had been running on $25.00 camo gun cases. It was no longer on their ad, but I was able to get two. Don't know if they're all gone yet, but you can't beat that deal either. They are great cases.
Tapco does it again.
Thanks Bill.

I got mine in today. I ordered some of the $2.99 used and the $2.25 light rust. The $2.25 mags are only slightly worse than the more expensive. If I were to order more I would just order the cheaper ones as they were all in good shape. One did have the floorplate in backwards though...crazy.

Just ordered some of them today. Didn't really need them but the price is right. Expect to get them in a week or two.

Thanks for the reviews. I have been having "buyer's remorse" since ordering. Wondering what they would look like and asking myself why I ordered so many. I got my shipping conformation yesterday. It sounds like they are just as I expected.

Anyone order any of the slight rust alloy or steel G3 mags that were 70¢ each if you bought 50?

If there the same ones they were selling for $1 a while back get as many as you can, many are fine just with a good cleaning.

I bought 100 of them.
Not as nice as the last batch that where $1.00 each, but all are very useable
and still a good deal for .75 each.

Of 40 $2.99 mags I received, 1 in 4 had at least a small dent in the body.
A couple had the bolt hold open nub severly buggered up.
Most of them have bent floorplates that no longer lock in place
3 of them looked near new.
I found at least on Izzy mag, and others with SA type green paint remnents.
I found one that had a BHO nub that I had never seen before. Instead of the pressed out metal triangle, I was a flat peice of metal bent up 90 deg from the rear of the follower.
Overall, I was not impressed.
I ordered fifty of the rusted steel G3 mags they were split about 50/50 with some needing a good refinishing and needing a light scrub down with steelwool and oil. I doubt I will bother refinishing the ones that need it and just use them as range mags. Either way, I think they were a good deal.

I bought 10 of the rusty metric FAL mags.
About 1/2 of them had very small dents on them, and after cleaning, scraping off the minor rust, and refinishing,I wound up with 8 that fed right.
Still great for the price,I think!
