Looking at a Nightforce scope and am wondering where the best price could be had. Specifically the 3.5-15 x 50. Not sure which reticle.
Opinions, options.
Thanks,
JB

Make sure you look through it first. Some of the night force scopes have very fine reticles that, IMO, are not suitable for hunting or other uses other than target shooting because you can't see them on any background other than white.

I'm hip, Armed 1.
A friend has their Mil Dot reticle and even it is a little fine for my taste, not to mention a bit "busy". After looking at the Nightforce site I honestly can't say that any of their reticle designs float my boat. I may end up getting a good ol' Leupold with the USMC mil dot, something I have some experience with.
Thanks,
JB

I have a NF 2.5-10x24. It's marketed as a hunting scope, a very over engineered hunting scope. Anywho I've got the circle-dot reticle, my intended purpose is cqb three gun but use the higher power with known turret adjustments for long range. It was one of the few out there with zeroable turrets on a lower power scope. I just mounted it today, going to see how she works on thursday.
