Anyone have any experience with Doctor scopes. Is the company still operating?

They should be comparable to Zeiss according to all reports I've heard and read but have no personal experience. Top quality glass.
I came very close to buying one but in the end I went with Schmidt&Bender.
The company is perfectly operational but I understand there was no US importer for a while?
